The use of electronic equipment at work is increasing all the time: computers and semiconducor industry. All of these are sensitive to electrostatic discharges(ESD). Although an electrostatic charge contain only a small amount of energy, its high voltage and extremely rapid discharge may cause serious problem to sensitive devices. ESD causes electronic device failure during a number of production, pakaging and testing processes. Esd shoes are designed to ensure constant drainage of the static charges from the operators's body to ground. Features static-dissipative inner soles and outersoles which provide continuous electric contact of the foot to ground as required by ESD standards. Natural leather is used for both the upper shoe and the inner sole providing comfort and long term wearability. |
